🏡 Bly hier – Resident
Hierdie voël bly die hele jaar by ons.
This bird lives here all year round.
Afrikaans
Waar by die skool? Kyk in groot bome – hulle beweeg in lawaaierige groepe.
Wil jy weet?
English
A shiny dark green bird with a long tail, a red curved bill and red feet. It searches bark and holes in trees for insects and grubs.
Where at school? Look in big trees – they move in noisy groups.
Did you know? The group cackles and "laughs" together like a bunch of chatterboxes.
